I am a retired Biology Professor and Dean of the College of Science and Society at University of Bridgeport. My postdoc was done at the Center for Comparative Genomics at NYU and my graduate work was done at UConn. My research has focused on canine life history, energetics and behavior in fishes, and genetic plasticity and behavior in plants.
I’m a KPA CTP and an agility and nosework enthusiast. I train with my Cattle dog mix, Atha, and my Bichon mix, Daisy, at the Port Chester Obedience Training Club in White Plains, NY.
I have been a guardian to many rescue dogs and cats, chickens, chinchillas, mice, rats, guinea pigs, corn snakes, turtles, frogs, marine and freshwater fishes, and goats.
